From November 16 to 17, 2019, the 8th Council Meeting (Fifth Session) of the Jiangsu Province University Photography Association was held at Yancheng Institute of Technology. During the two-day event, the second “Jiangsu Photography Education Award” was officially presented. This prestigious award recognizes university photography educators who have made outstanding contributions and demonstrated excellence in the field of photography education in Jiangsu Province.

As an executive member of the Photography Education Committee of the Jiangsu Higher Education Society, photographic artist Hans Xu (Xu Xuehan) was honored with this award in recognition of his continued dedication to teaching, research, and creative work. This accolade not only affirms his personal achievements in the field of photography education, but also highlights his significant role in advancing the development of photography as a discipline within Jiangsu’s higher education system.
